Childhood Aspirations of a Crazy Chick

When Lafemme was a teeny-weeny kid

she often thought about what

she would be good at when she grew up.

What did you want to be? 🙂

  1. renxkyoko says:

I wanted to be a nun. He he he ( That’s true, though.)

    • Lafemmeroar says:

Hmmm….Ren…why do I envision you in a habit while holding a whip???????? 🙂

  2. My mom used to say she could rent me out as a dominatrix. This made her friends laugh, but made me surly. Even when I read the dictionary definition, I didn’t get it … but it sure does make me laugh now. 🙂

    • Lafemmeroar says:

lmao!!!!!! The good thing about a dominatrix is the you don’t have to have sex with a man…you just need to humiliate them…that’s how they get their rocks off! That’s a plan B for me if life every went waaaaaay doooowwwwnnnn sooouuttthh!!!! Disclaimer: Lafemmeroar does not hate men….nor does she like humiliating them … but it sure would be fun to give the bad schlongs their comeuppance…

  3. Good question … I wanted to be a professional ice skater. Getting dizzy while twirling cut that dream right away. I’m glad … limited amount of guy skaters on my side of the rink …. wonder if I would have skated to the other side. 😍

    • Lafemmeroar says:

You are who you are…one would go to the other side no matter what’s on their feet! 🙂

      • 😃

  4. I was torn–concert violinist or stand-up comic. My mother said I should be a doctor because they make more money. So I compromised; I dropped out of school after 9th grade and joined a band. Which is why I now have the dubious reputation among my friends as the most perennially under-employed person they know. Mom couldn’t be more proud.

    • oops…looks like I left off the last sentence…
Mom couldn’t be more proud… of my sister, who actually did become a doctor, and who does make more money…. heh

      • Lafemmeroar says:

At least you can always go to her for prescriptions ….

    • Lafemmeroar says:

omg, Woman! They make tv movies out of your life… very colorful. What instrument did you play?

      • lots of things, mostly guitar these days. If I had the energy for it I’d be embarrassed by how badly I do it. These days I just play for fun, or when I want to get revenge on my neighbors by inspiring their beagle in the wee hours of the night…:-)

        • Lafemmeroar says:

lol on inspiring! It’s wonderful that you play guitar. Having fun is the best way to be 🙂

          • it’s cool…I am one of the few people who made it out of the 70s alive and kind of not-insane…and I got to live the dream, baby…I made my living, for a few years, doing a single and supporting myself with music only–no day job. And I got to jam with some real cats. I do sort of
regret the profligate use of chemically mind-altering substances; because now I’m not sure if the reason I can’t remember the words to any Grateful Dead songs because I was stoned all the time, or if I just didn’t like their stuff…

            • Lafemmeroar says:

Oh I love your comment! Wish there were videos of you performing!!!!!! Are there?

  5. I wanted to be a ballerina, then I wanted to be a Civil Rights Lawyer. True Story

    • Lafemmeroar says:

Twinkle Toes out for Justice….oh what a word combination 🙂

  6. gotmeghan says:

Lol oh my gosh! I wanted to be a firefighter. I still have no idea why, but now I think I somehow knew firefighters are hot without even knowing it back then. 😀

    • Lafemmeroar says:

Maybe you liked the idea of carrying around a long “hose” 🙂

      • gotmeghan says:

        Hahaha, maybe 🙂

  7. I’ve always viewed you with affection, and that continues, but given your new ambition, I am hesitating to ask you round for coffee

    • Lafemmeroar says:

Oh I’d have coffee with you anyday Peter 🙂
