I wanted to be a nun. He he he ( That’s true, though.)
Hmmm….Ren…why do I envision you in a habit while holding a whip???????? 🙂
My mom used to say she could rent me out as a dominatrix. This made her friends laugh, but made me surly. Even when I read the dictionary definition, I didn’t get it … but it sure does make me laugh now. 🙂
lmao!!!!!! The good thing about a dominatrix is the you don’t have to have sex with a man…you just need to humiliate them…that’s how they get their rocks off! That’s a plan B for me if life every went waaaaaay doooowwwwnnnn sooouuttthh!!!! Disclaimer: Lafemmeroar does not hate men….nor does she like humiliating them … but it sure would be fun to give the bad schlongs their comeuppance…
Good question … I wanted to be a professional ice skater. Getting dizzy while twirling cut that dream right away. I’m glad … limited amount of guy skaters on my side of the rink …. wonder if I would have skated to the other side. 😍
You are who you are…one would go to the other side no matter what’s on their feet! 🙂
😃
I was torn–concert violinist or stand-up comic. My mother said I should be a doctor because they make more money. So I compromised; I dropped out of school after 9th grade and joined a band. Which is why I now have the dubious reputation among my friends as the most perennially under-employed person they know. Mom couldn’t be more proud.
oops…looks like I left off the last sentence…
Mom couldn’t be more proud… of my sister, who actually did become a doctor, and who does make more money…. heh
At least you can always go to her for prescriptions ….
omg, Woman! They make tv movies out of your life… very colorful. What instrument did you play?
lots of things, mostly guitar these days. If I had the energy for it I’d be embarrassed by how badly I do it. These days I just play for fun, or when I want to get revenge on my neighbors by inspiring their beagle in the wee hours of the night…:-)
lol on inspiring! It’s wonderful that you play guitar. Having fun is the best way to be 🙂
it’s cool…I am one of the few people who made it out of the 70s alive and kind of not-insane…and I got to live the dream, baby…I made my living, for a few years, doing a single and supporting myself with music only–no day job. And I got to jam with some real cats. I do sort of
regret the profligate use of chemically mind-altering substances; because now I’m not sure if the reason I can’t remember the words to any Grateful Dead songs because I was stoned all the time, or if I just didn’t like their stuff…
Oh I love your comment! Wish there were videos of you performing!!!!!! Are there?
I wanted to be a ballerina, then I wanted to be a Civil Rights Lawyer. True Story
Twinkle Toes out for Justice….oh what a word combination 🙂
Lol oh my gosh! I wanted to be a firefighter. I still have no idea why, but now I think I somehow knew firefighters are hot without even knowing it back then. 😀
Maybe you liked the idea of carrying around a long “hose” 🙂
Hahaha, maybe 🙂
I’ve always viewed you with affection, and that continues, but given your new ambition, I am hesitating to ask you round for coffee
Oh I’d have coffee with you anyday Peter 🙂
